I had an '89 FJ62 a few years back and I agree with Taconut. You either love them or avoid them like the plague. I think I was getting closer to 15mpg and mine wasn't a rough ride, it really was a cruising 'Cruiser at 65-70mph. The knock on those old wagons is they could climb a tree but they couldn't out run one. I can't imagine the carbuerated 60's are any peppier. I really enjoyed mine as an around town buggy and a weekend trail runner until my needs changed for a pick up. I have regretted selling that thing ever since it left my driveway -
