Are the diferentials simetric: can I rotate the diferential 180 to have the input shaft higher, thus better aligning the axle shaft?

Heck, that's only losing one, I'm gonna go home and try it! Oops, I have a high pinion diff. Guess I'm already there. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/pfft.gif" alt="" />

Maybe then I should reverse the engine rotation, I need a new cam and engineer chain tensioner....
