Wow, too cool Dan. I was at Jerrys' the first of the year and we were playing with the bell housings you mentioned. He said it was for something you were going to try. Was wondering if you were going to go all the way with this. Sounds like you've got the stages planned out.

I'm going a simular direction with the auto tranny in Melissas' Trooper. Hopeing to eventually mate a 5 cyl Mercedes 300 TDI to it. (If I can figure out the adapters) Should have the engine and an empty block in a month or so.
IF that doesn't work I'll try and find an Olds 60 deg diesel for it. It'll be a slug but the mileage should make up for it.
