I hope your ISC didn't re-fry your ecu.

Some info didn't come thru on my reply???
Get the ###s of the module inside the distib. and get the little # off the disc---don't touch the disc lwith a screwdriver or ANYTHING.
I'll see if I can cross ref it and find you something without buying a whole distrib, if the mode. is what you need.

Hey Dave,

Thanks for checking on this for me but my problem is not with the distributor. All the tests showed that the distributor module was working properly.

My problem turned out to be with the ECU after all. I called AvPro after our test with Rich's functional ECU and they said they weren't too surprised that my rebuilt ECU didn't work because it appeared that it had CPU damage. I said how much I wish they had told me that at the very beginning. They said they don't say that because they found that if they do, mechanics get lazy and just assume it is the ECU that is bad. Needless to say, I'm not to please with AvPro right now.At least they refunded me my money.

I ordered a replacement ECU, go it today and drove the Monty home this evening. After being Montyless for an entire month, it sure is nice to have the girl back. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />
