Do you have a pickle fork? That is what I always use. How would I do this with out tearing the rubber seal? On the tie-rod?

Geez, you just said that you wanted to get it OFF. Now you are putting all of these extra constraints on me. Usually if I have to break out Ol' Pickly I'm not too worried about the boots, I just change them if they tear.

Or you could just go to HF and buy this and never have to worry about it again...

Do not buy that from HF. I broke it the first time I used it. It's made of cast metal..... Got a real one from NAPA for ove 35 bucks but works great.

Or borrow one from AutoZone for... free. They do make good trail tools though, worth owning. FWIW, I have a pitman arm puller and TRE puller from HF that work great. A friend bought one and it busticated badly. Great consistency.
Got an ol' pickly too... good for user conflict on the trail to boot.

Im going to get a the puller from Napa. Drivers side is completly apart, starting on the passenger side now............

Quickest and easiest way to get TRE out is to use a hammer and tap of the outside to the hole the TRE goes through. It momentarily mushrooms the hole and the tapered TRE just pops out usually after 3 or 4 good whacks.
