GREAT IDEA!!!
I'm concidering replaceing my '89 V6 2 door's , leaky at the top box, with a '90 - '91 lwb , which bolts up and is --ten times beefier-- than mine ,and has only a slightly different ratio.
Know I know what to do with the old box. Too bad I just bought a new arm on Ebay,,DUH.

I like it....! I think this qualifies as a first.

For sure this is the first time I have seen it tried.

Roll Me Over
I've got a spare gearbox too, and now the gears are really turning in my brain! It looks like the top of that box has been shaved in half. Just curious as to why that is? Would there be any sense in making a power gearbox idler arm?

I am more surprised it took so long for this to get tried.. I had forgotten about it. It was knocked around as an idea about 6 months ago.

But no one till now stepped up to the plate to actually do it.
