I would have to disagree. I have had the Warn on my rig for almost ten years now, and they have held up fine. The Warn flares that I have are soft enough that they can take the abuse of a tree or rock every now and then. They have some scratches and a gouge or two in them, but have never cracked. I have seen quite a few of the Bushwacker Cut-outs break though.
