A close call with an idiot driver today reminded me that IÆve been meaning to post thisà
Miss Kathy and I rented the movie æShattered GlassÆ (actually not too bad of a movie, overall, butà) û There was a scene in which the main characters were driving, in-a-rush, and not obeying many traffic lawsà Upon running a red light, they had to swerve to avoid being T-boned by a silver 2nd gen Trooper.
And the best part was that it wasnÆt over-dramatizedà The Trooper did exactly what any of us would expectà It simply came to a nose-diving stop in the middle of the intersection. --- No carnage; no big-budget Hollywood crash stunt; and most notably, NO GRATUITOUSLY STAGED ROLL-OVER!
If that rig had received just a wee-bit more screen time, and John Q. Public had been hit squarely over the head with the fact that it was an Isuzu Trooper, the scene would have almost qualified as Good Press!
OHà and I also saw an Isuzu Rodeo on æThe ShieldÆ last week!
Cheers! Smiley
Six Isuzus, so far... still have three of them.

Cheers! Smiley I saw that episode as well. It's funny how I now notice the vehicles first then the story line. This board has changed my viewing preferences for good.

Hmmm movie and tv spottings...off the top of my head...
there is a Rodeo in the FAST AND THE FURIOUS hahaha i love to make fun of that movie. Its the scene right before Brian breaks into Hectors warehouse, its parked outside 'El Gato', yah just parked, not racing
the Even Stevens have a second gen Trooper
I know there have been a couple first gen troopers spotted in movies in the past couple of years, I can't remember any off the top of my head
So do you guys yell at the tv screen when you see an isuzu as if it was someone you know?
'Hey look! Look! First gen Trooper! Sweet!' 'What do you know whos truck that is?' 'Nah but its an Isuzu!'

OHà and I also saw an Isuzu Rodeo on æThe ShieldÆ last week! Reminds me of a movie I rented a ways back: The Pledge with Jack Nicholson. So-so movie, but he's driving a 2nd gen Trooper everywhere, including one scene where he's haulin' across a field, really putting the thing through it's paces. So I Google'd "jack nicholson the pledge trooper" and got a couple of hits: Brunching Shuttlecocks web board: "half of the movie could be construed to be an extended commercial for an isuzu trooper" French movie site About 2/3 way down: "Jack Nicholson conduit un beau 4x4 (Isuzu Trooper)." which translates to "Jack Nicholson drives a beautiful 4x4 (Isuzu Trooper)." Oh, and I get the movie star head-turn in my Rodeo every time I drive it into town, of course.

Mike, Yep, I saw that one tooà as I mentioned in a post from 10/06/03. Jack NicholsonÆs fence-busting, field-crossing scene was the highlight of the movie for meà ( ItÆs not the most spiritually uplifting movie youÆll ever see - in fact, itÆs so dark and disturbing that it's rather hard to watch! û SO, for Isuzu fans, seeing that Trooper being put through its paces sort-of helps get you through it.) Cheers! Smiley

If I'm not mistaken, there is a red Rodeo in Master of Disguise. It's parked in the background, across the street when Pistachio is talking to his assistants boyfriend.

In the beginning of "Mission to Mars" they had a convertable Vehicross.
Also the first Spy-kids had a Vehicross, I believe it sprouted wings and dove underwater.

The second Spy Kids supposedly had an Axiom I read, I would never degrade myself enough to watch that movie lol.
On that horrible Canadian show "DeGrassi", Rodeo(s) are used in the set parking lots, like 2 I saw.
Yes, the Even Stevens have a Trooper that is shown most times they show the house.
Hmmmmmm, Im sure there are more, If i see any soon ill be sure to post em here hehe.

Shattered Glass was a good movie I thought. I remember watching it with one of my friends and his girlfriend and when I saw that scene I jumped up and pointed to the screen and I was like "Woah, Trooper, 2nd gen trooper!!"
They both looked at me like I was 5 years old.
