Last night on the news, there was a report on the violence in Iraq over the voting and they showed an old 4 door 'Pup being crammed with Iraqi's.

This one is almost too easy, for obvious reasons. I saw Ong-Bak, The Thai WarriorIt's set in Thailand. The trucks look more utilitarian instead of "Americanized," but there's a bunch of Isuzu Pickups in there, and some you can't tell for certain that might be Isuzu's. For those who don'tknow, Isuzu has a major plant there and is #1 in Thailand, the #3 pickup market in the world. The Chevy Colorado/Isuzu i series pickup is an Americanized version of the Thai truck. The work space is smaller, the seats are bigger, and there are more safety/comfort options.

I watched one of my older movies again that I have , Galaxy Quest , and I noticed in a scene where they are opening an electronics store that there is a Rodeo parked in the lot.You can see the rear end of it and a little of the side right in front of the crowd while they cut the ribbon for the store. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

There was a briefly shown Rodeo in the back ground on a 4x4 show on Spike (?) when they were in the parking lot unloading an aluminum jeep body. And last night on the local news channel they featured a sorta local guy (from a town about 2 hours away) that had a highly built 1st gen Amigo...for sound off competitions. Apparently its the world's 6th loudest vehicle. Its a lowrider, with lots of speakers of course. Article is here, down near the bottom. Looks to be a link to video at the top. Sound off Amigo -Mike W

I just looked at the video... that's SICK!
Ya know, with all the money he spent on audio, you would think he can afford a shift knob. One quick shot of him driving shows him shifting, grabbing the stick with the threads sticking up.

Unless that keeps it from shifting into gear when he's got the thing cranked up? -Mike

In a recent episode of "Unique Whips" on the Speed Channel, a customer was squirreling-around in his Dodge Viper and you could see a Gen I Trooper parked in the background. Thank goodness he skidded off into the grass instead of the Trooper!!!!

Not so much movie or tv, but in the LA Times daily crossword today, the clue for 58 across was 58. Trooper automaker. Is Isuzu already getting so obscure that it can be used in crossword puzzles?
