Since you haven't posted where you are...I don't know if it'll help. I'm in GA and fixing to buy 04 DC 4wd SR5, Conv pckg. Price with DOC/dealer fees is $23,100. Total driveout is $24,800. Also, in my area demand is high/ supply is low right now.

The price they are quoting you for ext cab is high.

Redvet...if thats for a non-TRD SR5, they still have a LOT of room. I had the $23,100, then next closest was $23,585. Walk out...thats what I did.

I hhonestly didn't think I would be able to get them to $23,500 (which I would have accepted), then he said $23,100 WITH all fees...and I said ok.

Actually, that's not exactly true. The Limited package does NOT get you leather. It does get you the different flairs (though black sr5's have the same flairs), and it also gets you the adjustable drivers/passengers seats - something I really wanted.

Leather is above and beyond the limited package...

I email my salesman last night about same thing with TRD in case I wanted to go with that. He said it would be $24k flat plus taxes.

Are you guys (& gals) aware that if you are selling a private party vehicle, you can work this through the dealer to save on taxes at the same time you select your new truck? It's referred to as the "pass through program". Some dealers want to charge $350 for the fee but you should be able to find a dealer that will throw it in for free. It can save you quite a bit on taxes on the new truck. It saved me $$ on mine. All you have to have is the other buying party present to sign the paperwork. Toyota will even finance their purchase of your used vehicle.

I think I paid 24K for mine when Toyota was having it's $500 rebate back in December. Whatever it was, it was $50 over dealer invoice minues $500.



If you do, you'll love the seats. I HATE... HATE... the SR5 seats. Why Toyota pulled the adjustable seats from the SR5 line and added them to the limited is beyond me... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" /> I was willing to pay the extra $1K to get those seats, but I couldn't find (or even order) a limited up here in MN.
