I'm not *sure* that was the problem - there looks to be some more fresh oil in that area today. There is oil on the underside of my alternator, oil filter, and it has dripped on every thing below and behind (oil pan, cross member, steering rack). I think when it is leaking, probably while under power and the pressure is up, it is spraying *up* from somewhere *below*. Any ideas if it is not the sender and my oil filter is on tight? It's not going fast, not noticeable on the dip stick at fill ups, but maybe a half quart by oil change time.

I'm not used to my driveway having oil spots since I traded that Chevy in oh those many years ago...
