 Clicking In The front End ?

I know that one of my balljoints are bad but i got this clicking in the front end and the hubs are not locked it only happens once in a while is it the CVs?
Also when i turn the steering wheel i get what sound like two ald rusty metal parts rubing together Balljoints? Or somthing with my steering ?

The Cv's wont be turning at all if your hubs are unlocked(Unless your t-case is in 4wd). Sounds like your steering stops need greased.. 4x4wire has a writeup on this..

I did that front end mantinance.Still clicking when im going stright ? wheel bearings?

this only when im in the cab just warming it up and i slightly turn the wheel left to right its not as bad as the wheel stops rubing not even close to that bad

It's possible.. The next thing i would do is take the hub and rotor off and have a look at the wheel bearings.. They might just need repacked with grease..

You say it makes the noise while your warming it up? Well forget the wheel bearing idea then.. Take a look at your idler arm, they are prone to get alot of slop in them.. There's also Idler Arm info on 4x4wire...

I have a question along the same line. My 1990 4x4 sounds similar i think. When I have the steering wheel fully rotated either way it its a little stronger then a click but similar. Maybe even alittle banging but again only when its full rotated either direction. Same problem?

Now That Is The Steering Stops Put Some Grease On The Bolts
In Front And Back Of The Wheel And If Its Not The Stops Check The Steering Box
