I've been thinking about making magnetic window screens for a while now. I've also thought about creating some sort of tent-like contraption to screen the tailgate when fully open. Has anyone else noticed the following?

It seems like when I have all the side windows rolled up but the sun roof open, bugs don't tend to come in.. I get good enough ventilation as the heat can rise straight out, but the bugs don't seem to have discovered the open sun roof.. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shiner.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />

Also any body try sleeping for example in a 4Runner where the seats fully reclined to the horizontal position? Haven't done an all nighter in them, but seem to work pretty good for extended rest stops..

I've thought about laying the sleeping bag on top of the fully reclined seats and crawling in...

After the torrential rains at Paragon last year at EC4RJ, anything is better than being on the ground in a tent..
