The 350 swap is not a bad idea, it would even get better mileage if I put in an EFI engine (I had a TBI chev truck that would get close to 20 mpg if I kept it under 65). Here lies the rub, convincing the wife that it is okay to take a $6k vehicle and immediately pull the engine. She is really not a fan of that sort of thing. I suppose the fact that I have four jeeps and only one that runs <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> might have something to do with her apprehension for vehicular projects. In the mean time, I guess I will keep driving old "Trusty Rusty" and hope I don't fall through the floor any time soon <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shiner.gif" alt="" />.
