I bought 18' of coaxial cable at the local truck stop and started threading it though the driver side body panels so I could put it through the hole in the tailgate where the E.T. wires go (spare mounted antenna). It was a PITA getting the wire through the rubber flexy going to the door until I poured some olive oil into it to lubricate things a bit. All the time I was thinking about how to properly handle the excess because I read it was better to keep the full 18'. Well, as I neared the end I realized I was 4" short of what I needed! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> Who would have throught a Amigo/RS would need over 18' to go from the dash to the tailgate! I'll go to Radio Shack tomorrow to buy 20' of type 58 coaxial cable. When I was a high school shop teacher I would tell the kids, "Measure twice, cut once."
