Goodness! I have 18ft in my Gen1 Trooper and basically did the same thing... through the door panesl and rubber grommets all the way back and out the back door... and I had plenty left.. it's coiled up inside the back door... I know the Trooper is a good bit longer than the Amigo... I think your truck ate some cable somewhere! -lol
