Pete,
It's not very hard to run the cable under the carpet toward the center of the truck right at the back seats. There should be a break in the carpet there with velcro to reattach it to itself. From there slide it down to meet the center console and then bring it out and tuck it under the plastic. That'll leave you with plenty left over.
