Replaced Distributor cap, rotor button, and TPS. Used an ohmeter to get the TPS and made sure AFM were within spec. The truck turns over but wont fire. Have a code 12 and 22 I think. Any way to further test this/anyone in St. Louis able to help me further? I'll compensate you for your time. I hate this truck and just want to get outside and play.

Now why do you hate this truck? So, assuming that it started before you replaced the dist cap, rotor and tps.?
Do you have your firing order correct?
It's probably your tps, recheck it?
Clear your codes:pull the efi fuse or disconnect the battery.
Love your truck & it will love you! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

Tailpipe got hacked to make way for the Chevy's flex. It started a long time ago, back in January. Disconnected battery and only got a Code 22, after I tried starting it and only got lots of cranking did the Code 12 appear again.

So,Let me have all the info: it started back in January,
You thought your tps was bad so you replaced it? Is this correct?
Do you have an rpm gauge? If so, try cranking it over and if your rpm gauge doesn't move could be your ignitor!
What did you do to your afm? Adjust it?
How bout all the obviuos: spark, fuel, check your fuses, wires, plugs,( is the rotor turning inside your cap?)
Timing.
Maybe this helped you! Answer my questions please so we can help ya out! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

RPM gauge isnt moving at all. I made a gasket for around the distributor cap since the old one was dry rotted. Maybe its too thick?

Your rpm gauge should move when you are cranking it over. Sounds like an ignitor!
Do you have spark?
Does your cap fit ok?
I would try an ignitor! Before you try an ignitor, check your fuses (all of them) and also see if you have spark, at the plugs & coil! 10-4?
Good Luck! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

How do I check for spark? I know I did last week when I pulled the ignitor and got shocked into having two heartbeats. I just pulled the gasket I put on and nothing, RPM gauge still sits still.
