I've got the basic Bosch VE pump, fuel cut-off solenoid, cold start solenoid, rpm pick-up, boost compensator. No fancy EGR etc ... Now that I think of it. Maybe I should have disconnected the pipe between the inlet manifold and the pump. I have noticed that the turbo does boost, even when no load is applied. Therefore the boost compensator would hike up the rpm as the boost comes in.

I'll check it out this evening ...

I'm taking the vehicle in on the 6th so that possible burnt valves can be investigated. I'll ask the company to set the pump correctly.
