You are using them to complement your newer springs. I would not be very comfortable using them to effectively replace worn-out springs.

When I had my springs re-arched the only reason the truck did not sit even lower is because they stopped on the over-load leaf. If I would have used air-shocks it would have been the only thing supporting my truck.
