There's a filter on the pickup unit in the tank, so if it's shot, then you have cause for concern. Some dumb <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/angry.gif" alt="" /> $#)$#(&(#&$ put red clay in my tank a few years back, thinking I was someone else. I didn't have any trouble with it as far as running, but I DID run it dry, dropped the tank, and flushed the bugger out.
