i used to be able to run past "E" but since about a year ago when the needle hits the bottom of the E she'll sputter. I can get 16.5 gallons in a tank that i sputtered into the gas station on. The premium is a buck 90 i beleive... i try not to look anymore. About the "stuff in the tank" ... i replaced my fuel pump bracket a while back and the inside of the tank was spotless.

About the gas, i was watching a thing on the history channel the other day and it turns out all gas is the same.. UNTIL it gets to the various companys filler stations where they then put in their own additives before shipping the fuel by truck to various stations.
