There are 17 people online as of when I started this thread. We need a chat room. Or is there one I don't know about?

I sort of disagree.

When people pop in here and ask questions like "What kind of axle swaps into a 1993 Rodeo?" and you get responses like "Use the search button" it's because there's a huge wealth of knowledge on this board. So much so that I'd pretty much be screwed if the server ever took a dump and couldn't be restored/gotten back online.

So by posting on here, and keeping it on here, you're building a knowledge base. For instance, every time I posted a question while I was doing the swap last year, I prefaced it with "SAS: subject of post here" so that it might help out people in the future.

I guess I'm being selfish and wanting to make sure I'm in on your conversations... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Gosh sweater, you're a conversation whore if I've ever seen one. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" /> But that's the way I like 'em.

You are right. BUT, the chat room would help ppl get to know each other better. And, sometimes it no fun to do searches! :P

I have actually gone back through the thread pages already and read stuff that was for me. No searches done yet. Need to get on that LOL Instead of bugging you guys hehe

For some damn reason I have trouble searching. I can't get it to search for phrases. It shows hits for each word. I have tried doing it 95 (and) rodeo.....95+rodeo...95+ rodeo...What am I doing wrong here?

I was having the same problem and THINK I finally hit on the right way to do an "and" search here... Try this:
95 +rodeo
Which is: 95<space>+rodeo

To search for a phrase, just put the phrase in " "s.

The syntax is the same as for google.

The only real issue is that you have to spell things just like what you are seeking - notice that I did not specify which of you spelled it correctly. That means that if you, or the original mispell by a single character you won't get a match.

As far as the chatroom, by design and intention this is a moderated site - pretty hard, if not impossible for a chatroom. In the past, people have started threads listing the IM ids, and if you would like to do that again, go ahead.
