As far as oils, adn filters, I am VERY picky. It all deopeonds on the usage. In my rodeo, high revving V6(3.2 DOHC), that does see those revs(leadfoot), adn alot of heat stress from towing the race cars..I use a K&N with Castrol Syntec. Period, no variation. In my race cars, I use conventional oil, 20-50 Quakerstate with a K&N. You get the hint. Your selection has has to do with 1. the primary isage of the vehicle, 2. personal preference. If you are running a high revving motor, use the catrol syntec, it does stand up a lttle better(in my experience), than standard oil. and the quakerstate, we change every week anyway...
