It won't work. That is only for electronic speedometers. Yours is driven off a cable. There's no way it will work. The only way to compensate for it is to change the speedometer gears. Or, do like I do and use a GPS for your speedometer.

If you are referring to my 96 Troop, its electronic. I pulled the electrical connector off the transducer to get at the speedo gear this evening.

Sadly I had to get rid of my 1996 Trooper 3.2L due to a rusted frame.
