Darren, Here's a link to my previous post in regards to the rear '99 4wd coils. I did the rear end only, to fix the slight sag problem after lifting the vehicle a while ago. In the photo, you can see the difference between the 2wd and 4wd rear coils. http://www.4x4wire.com/forums/showf...;oldertype=&bodyprev=#Post527504

Huh. Missed that one, too! Now if you guys would've put "1999 coils" in the subject, you would've had my attention!
Does anyone know if the 1996-1998 spring model numbers are different?
By the same token, are the 2000-2002's different, amongst themselves?
I guess the simpler question would be, does each year have its own model number, or are some of them grouped?

Darren, Both the front as well as the rear coils had an additional wind, or coil. With the 275/70 Revos, the body seam measurement is now 19". I like the way the front of the truck sits, but may opt to add a 1.5 or 2" aluminum spacer to the rear coils. Just a visual thing though.

Very good. I saw you are now thinking of going even higher. You should've done that anyway!

Baby steps...
As for the coil part numbers, the ones I purchased were considered "'98 -'99". I confirmed what Schaefer had stated on his site regarding the length of these coils by having the parts guy research the published length of each coil. Didn't appreciate the additional work, but he made a sale. I think 2WD and 4WD received the same rears for '98 & '99. Strange, but that came from the parts guy.

99runner4me - I am curious if you purchased the same rear coils that I did. Was the part number: 48231-35210?

Andreas,
I have the same exact '01 4Runner, except mine didn't come w/the rear wind deflector. I changed to Bilsteins about a year ago w/stock springs and noticed an improvement in ride height. I'll measure and post. Later on I might install some spacers, but the ride definitely improved. I removed the fender edge protectors, I think it looks better.
What size are those Bridgestones?

Andreas,
They are the same coil springs that you put in yours. Same part # and all.
