I have never had to adjust that allen head nut on the top of my steering box. You should only have to adjust it every 150k miles or so. It's not a freeplay adjustment on the steering. If steering is loose or tight it's a 96% chance it's not in the box, it's other places.

I have no good tech other than that. They didn't sell you a fast ratio box, did they? Did everything grease alright after you installed it all?
