Time to replace the u-joints? #440897 04/25/04 05:45 PM

A week or so ago the truck started to squeak whenever it is under load up to around 40 mph. Once they start to squeak is it too late to save them? I didn't realize that that are greasable. 42000 miles seems a little premature for a joint to go out. I'm guessing the p/o never took care of them.
