the 2.4 and 2.7 are basically the same engine, the 2.7 has the same bore but longer stroke, and the 2.7 has balance shafts, theres no reason why a 2.7 couldn't be put in a 2wd non prerunner

are the heads the same? intake/exhaust manifold, wiring harness, smog crap all pretty similar? thanks
