Deron,
When I installed my 4000s, I referenced the Hella instructions, but used a Toyota fog light switch to match the one already in my dash.

The lights either ground through their mounting bolt, or have a separate wire for grounding. I used on of the many 10 or 12mm bolts available behind the front bumper - make sure you get a good ground.

You'll have a power wire going from the battery to the Hella relay, a 'signal' wire going from a powered circuit to the relay, a wire leading from the switch to the relay, and a wire going from the relay to the lights. If I remember correctly. The switch may also wish to have a ground if it is illuminated.

The signal wire needs to be tapped into a circuit that is powered in order for the relay to send power to the lights. I believe I pulled from the "aux" fuse.

Hope that helps.

Andreas
