Hey guys, as some of you know I just got stationed eielson AFB Alaska. As I sit and wait for my truck to grt up here, Im curios to know where on the net can I find the necessary gear I need to have my Toy survive the extreme winters out here? Thanks for the imput. Maxx

Run a very light weight synthetic oil in your engine like Mobil 0-30 and also run synthetic gear oil everything for a start. When it gets cold it flows so much better than dino.
Also buy the Toyota block heater. It goes in the block in one of the freezeplug holes and is pretty cheap. That is all I can think of off the top of my head.
I know my buddy who lives up in Alaska also says everyone up there drives around with survival gear in their trucks if they breakdown in the middle of no where so they can survive for a few days till help arrives.
I would imagine you could get a laundry list of stuff to do from your coworkers on base. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/patriot.gif" alt="" />
