Need a Spot
I have ran across a 4.7 v8 on ebay with everything I want at a reasonable price but the only drawl back it that it's has a 4x2 tranny, is it worth buying the engine and then soon after converting it to a 4x4? I am only questioning this because the engine has such low mileage and it's perfect for what i want.

Body Damage is Cool
I think all you'd need would be the front drivetrain (trans case, diff, etc.) & ecu...

I was thinking the same thing and I think the 2wd setup would work the best. I have seen a few places that can convert a toyota t-case to a divorce style. All you would need is a small shaft between the trany and the t-case.
