I think you'd find the best combination of worlds with just a little lift up front. Having a nice ride means not only having flexy suspension but also having enough travel. My experiences were that stock, I ran into the compression bumpstops a lot. If you did like .75" with low pro compression stops I bet you'd get a soft ride and also sufficient travel to stay off the bumpstops. Nice thing about that suspension is you can play with it until you like it best. Another benefit of a little lift is you sit back a bit. It's like reclining the seat a tad.
