Update #2

Tranny shop pulled the driveshaft on a hunch- VOILA no noise as they then went through the gears. So OOPs, " we were wrong, doesn't look like it's the tranny after all" but the LSD. ( Is it normal right about now to feel that every shop is completley ....incompetant ?? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shame.gif" alt="" /> )

He said for around 300$ he'll take the whole LSD apart and see what's wrong. OK <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />

Maybe it got dropped hard in shipping, maybe things dried out while waiting to be installed. Anyway, Come <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/evil.gif" alt="" /> or high water, I'm gonna have an LSD.
