Getting the Wheeling Fever
that won't help you when the garage blows from fumes! I agree with the above to do the prep yourself and let the other guy paint it. 1500 is a great price around here for quality work.

All I can say is: "WOW!" Now that's a long reply!, But, very informative! Thanks, you old Goat!
Do you mean to tell me that the AB shop does all this?
Sanding All the paint off? Here all along I just figured they'd paint over everything!
Thanks! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

First off guys I didn't write it, if you notice at the start I said written by someone unknown to me. I just copied and pasted it.

Don't give me any of the credit for the write-up or any of the blame if you blow your garage up or get thrown in jail by the EPA. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shiner.gif" alt="" />

Disclaimer: This was just intended to show how much work is involved with a good paint job. Do not try this at home kids.

Don't forget that you need to wear adequate respiratory protection......

Pay close attention to that one. I once painted a car in a sealed garage.......all I can say is that a paint fume high isn't any fun.......and neither was the hours of vomiting that followed.
