I did the job last night. First time, took 3hrs. The upper ball joint separation was the toughest part. I removed the whole spindle/axle shaft as a unit by unbolting the lower balljoint (four bolts).
The Meca-Tech boots seemed to fit well. Now I just have to do the other side. Couldn't have done it without this thread. The dealer quoted me $2033.00 to replace the boots!
