Getting the Wheeling Fever
How the heck do you get the pitman arm off of the steering gear? I've got the puller on there as tight as you can imagine and the damn thing won't come off. What's the trick?

hit the end of the puller with a hammer (the part the socket or wrench goes). tighten it down some more and hit it again, do this repeatedly untill it comes off. a little pb blaster never hurts either. don't hit the arm from the side as it can snap the shaft.

I've been beating at this thing for two days. It's still on the car, I'm just trying to replace the lower seals in the box cause it's leaking at the pitman arm shaft. I've been told that you don't have to take the gear box off of the jeep to do this. What'll happen if I start it up and turn the wheels back and forth to try and budge it loose?

Finally got it off. What a pain. Getting it back on was just as bad. Remind me never to do that again. At least its fixed now.
