i will lookin to the thang uall said to do but not to piss any one off i forgot to say the carb is two weeks old rebiuld from napa and been adjusted by the jeep dealer (taht i will not go back to for any thang).but i will try what i can when replaced i put new air lins and all.

try spraying the carb base gasket with carb cleaner while the jeep is running spray all around the base if it revs you have a vacuum leak and it sounds like a vacuum leak to me or the carb is way out of adjustment good luck <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/patriot.gif" alt="" />

ok i found out what the whole problem was two of the wire that go to the carb where broken i thank thay work the choke. my jeep now runs like a top <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" /> .thank you all for the help.

Doc, you got a couple of friends with a '90 YJ.
Mainly, the problem with these Carter/Webers (let's not drag all that out again !!) is vacuum and cleanliness. I did a total replacement of the Pulse Air system, and it worked well for a time.
I'd go with Big Jim on the warm up issue, easily. Mainly because he's done a million of these. Still, the stalling isn't really related to warm-up. It's generally the vacuum and that stupid little gum up issue.
These days, I can take my Street Princess out on the turn of the key.
Before, no way.
