now for an observation:

Why are these rims refered to as being 'neutral'/'zero' offset? By definition a neutral wheel would have the mounting surface in the middle of the rim, equidistant from inside/outside. Offset is the distance from the neutral line to the mounting surface. These are 7" wide, with 4.5" bs - an inch off from being neutral and far from '0'.

And yes, for whatever reason '0 offset' is cast into the inside of the rim (I have a stack of them sitting a few feet away), but it doesn't make any sense to me what so ever. Am I terribly misguided in my concept of rim measurement?
