Fess up, what did we all break?

I got off pretty easy:

1) Right DOR Skidder shock mount broke off - ran Golden Spike with just the three shocks - drove home with three, still running with three

2) Broke a tie rod on the Spike trail - had it replaced in back running in about 20 minutes.

My winch controller. Had it hanging off the front bumper and drove over it. Me=idiot

Well, that and some marital bonds between Molly and I as she guided me through the Spotter's Challenge...

a passenger side D44 Ujoint let loose at the end of upper helldorado and took out the inner and outer axle ears. Got spare shafts from corbin and joint from Aaron and got it fixed that night

My rear driver caliper sheared a slider and pretty much fell off on Behind the Rocks. It was removed and is still removed.

Drivers side D44 Ujoint broke on Rocker Knocker and took out the outer shaft. Had a spare and got it swapped in before we were done with lunch.

Thats it for me, though I did a lot of wrenching and welding for others so there should be some good stories in this thread.

I had crap luck...
I broke a snap ring . It took me a whole 5 min to replace it . All day while on Top Of The World I couldn't find any traction, towards the end of the trail I found I had no Front wheel drive. 2wd all day .

OK OK I had no real carnage, just wanted add my little story.

Just got home!

Well this isn't really "carnage", but my alternator went out going through the Rockies yesterday...replaced it in the parking lot of the Silverthorne, Colorado Carquest store. Helpful guys there, I recommend them.

Fortunately Chevy alternators are, um, readily available, even on a Sunday (they said it was the second one they sold that day!). Kinda sucked to pay $185 for a rebuilt alternator made in Princeton, Minnesota, but whatya gonna do?

Other than that I just got rock scrapes on pretty much everything under my truck

Other than losing my XM radio for a few hours due to a severed wire, I had a 5 minute leak out of my radiator after an unfortunate slam on rocker knocker. It seemed to seal itself and has not been an issue. Also seem to have lost my 4x4Wire account since I haven't logged in for over 2 yrs.

Well we just got back home late last night and all is well.
Had a great ride back with our prototype Stinkylink installed and keeping us on track.

Yep that's right, Dallas was kind enough to loan us his protolink after we (well me anyway) managed to pretzel one on the RS.
Not at all use to a coiled suspension. I'm use to banging leafs without disaster.

but other than a few bumper scrapes and pinstripes no other carnage was had by us.
Hope someone got pics of that bent link, my camera battery died and I don't have a single pixle of incriminating evidence.

It was bad enough that Desha bent that arm, but to add insult to injury, we couldn't get the tire lock off of the wheel out on the trail. We had to work around the tire to try to figure out a way to get the arm straighted a little so the tire wouldn't rub on the front of the wheel well and bend it back towards the middle of the trooper so it (and the brake bracket that was attached to it) wouldn't rub on the tire. Only took us an hour and a half to get it all figured out

It was very interesting watching the trooper drive on the highway after we got off the trail. It looked like it was in a perpetual right hand turn running down the road. Good thing we only had 7 miles of driving or the tires might have some funny wear marks in them!

Dallas had to use his welding skills (along with a socket) to get the locking lug nut off back in camp.

HunterD, how long was the drive? I want to make it to a moab but the drive is kinda discouraging.
