Getting the Wheeling Fever
Just a warning, that kind of tie rod angle may cause your tire to toe in when unloaded and the front wheels are digging. I bent two of the stock center links and had to upgrade to something bigger

Doesn't look like much, but can definetly lead to bent steering parts

Well itÆs been almost two years since I did that mod. And I can honestly say that I have had only one problem with this set up.. I had one of the shock towers break lose from the weld.. other than that it has worked flawlessly since this project!! My 87 Toyota is ready for some new tie rod ends just because the truck is 19 years old and they make a creaking noise.. they donÆt have any excessive play in them or anything like that..

I think if you are wanting to stay with the IFS this is the way to go.. IÆve done some decent trails ( 4s maybe 5s) with this and I live just a few miles from a place called the Stone Quarry that isnÆt really a trail itÆs more like a big ol playground with rock obstacles everywhere.. my IFS truck seams to hold its own against similarly built solid axle vehicles! It does get a little tipsy from time to time but with a little time and a well planed line it always makes it through.. The great thing about my set up is it still drives like a Cadillac down the highway!! Not to bad for a 19 year old truck lifted 6ö and sitting on 35s!!!
