Getting the Wheeling Fever

I purchased a DIY A/C recharge kit from Schuck's and have a question. It's looks pretty straight forward except the adapters (three of them) they provide for the conversion only fit on one side (the low side I believe). Has anyone used this kit and is there a trick to it?
