I average about 25K miles per year on my 4Runner. I don't know how old they were when I first noticed a small amount of squeeking. It seems like it was within the last year. I originally installed these SAW's in May, 2001. (Mine was probably the first 3rd gen 4Runner to have SAW's). Swayaway has changed several things about the design of these over the last few years. Heck, it's possible they've even changed what heims they use.

Thanks for the idea about the polyurethane bushing alternative. That's certainly a possibility.
