what else do you need to change? i will be doing mine as soon as i get the cab back on my 85... is there an easy way i can check for leaks before i go to charge it? thanks


The step that is missing is using a vacuum pump to pull down the system completely emptying it of R-12, or air if that's what is in there. On these trucks, there is no problem with the hoses or seals when converting to R-134.
