I have a 99 trooper with tod, automatic. with car off I filled it until in ovr flowed. then turn car on, added until over flow again, not sure though if any went in, this was at temp. then changed gears, ie rev, drive, 3, 2, low... then tried to add more...up to point of over flow...again not sure if any extra really went in or not...then closed plug drove 30-40 feet fine...though everything was great...then noticed that from a complete stop to accelaration it slips, but if I put in drive and acc. slowy car will go fine....
