Thank you all for the insight. The grounds were ok, the culprit looks like the right turn indicator switch. I investigated the hazard switch and it was operating ok, but noticed that although the right front turn signal worked when actuated by the lever at the column, it wouldn't work when actuated by the hazard switch. We are still chasing but think we have it cornered.
