I know the subject of lifts have been beaten to death, but I am in need of a lift now. My computer is really screwed up and I can't really do any searching (It freezes up on me). I don't have the funds to go with SAW's so I am debating on whether to get Revtek or Daystar. If I am not mistaken the Daystar lift is only like $200 while the Revtek is a little over $300. My question is which of the two is more of a quality kit? Also, are the lift heights gonna end up being about the same?
Thanks

Cornfeds are of more quality than both those, and between them in price. CornFed

I have a Daystar 2.5" lift kit on my 98 4Runner, and I'm very happy with it.

Asking which lift is better is kinda like asking what religion is best. You be the judge. Write ups on all of them

I am not asking which is better, that will vary from the people that have either of them. I just want to know of the quality of the material used in making the spacers. I know that cornfed has a good reputation and makes a quality product, I just didn't know if they sold a kit for the front and rear, also the price. Is there a difference between where these three are mounted on the spring?

Oh, ok I see.
cornfeds are aluminum in the rear and steel in the front price varying on size of lift.
I think revtek and daystar are polyurathane, dont quote me on it though. The info should be in the links provided above.
good luck in deciding, its the hardest part.
cheers

Revtek is aluminum. Daystar is polyu and Cornfed is steel.
All of the suppliers are top notch in their quality. You should be happy with any of them.
Mike
EDIT: Cornfed is alum. for the rear.

Is revtek alum. front and rear? If yes, I thought alum front were a no-no.

Is revtek alum. front and rear? If yes, I thought alum front were a no-no. Last set that I looked at was, however that was a couple of years ago. I looked around the web a bit and they may have moved to cast iron for the Tacos and the 4Runner. The Tundra still shows as all-Al. A good piece of machined 6061 bar stock would be perfectly acceptable for a spacer. Why wouldn't it? Mike
