Well, I think I finally got rid of the death wobble.

I ended up moving my spring hangers to the rear and putting the shackles up front. After trimming the shackles down a tad I ended up at about the same height I was at before but the death wobble is gone. I am guessing I only have maybe 3-4 degrees of positive caster. Before I would guess I was well beyond the acceptable 6-10 degree range and somewhere around 15. It was pretty bad. So anyhow, I learned my lesson. Luckily I was able to pull this off in an afternoon. I am getting a little too good at pulling my truck apart.

I gots my ford shock towers in but I found it very annoying that the shock bolts I had didnt fit in the towers properly. I am considering drilling out the towers so that I can run the same bolts top and bottom.

Is this going to cause any problems when I use a different shock? I test fitted some doectechs?? spelling. And they were too short, I need something a little longer. How long are the rancho 5112s? I know they are supposed to be stiff and all but 9000s are kinda silly as well. I would like to stick with doestech if I could. They are a nice ride and stiffen up just the way I like.
