I am looking into purchasing an 85 4 runner and am planning on a lift for it. I will be working on a budget and also do not have access to a welder to move spring mount locations for chevy or other springs. I will use the rig as a part time daily driver and also a rig to 4 wheel and not have to worry about breaking things. Will also use in the winter for snow I do not do any extreme rock crawling as most of the wheeling here in PA is mountains with a few rocks and mud holes. My question is what would be the best setup for me to fit 32 or 33" tires. A shackle lift or a bolt in set of new or helper springs for the front and rear? Who makes the best priced quality equipment? I see lifts listed in the 4 wheel parts wharehouse magazine for the 79 - 85 pickups for less than $300 total with new shocks and springs. I am assuming the older 4 runners use the same lift as the older pickups. Thanks for any replies as I can't wait to get it set up and do some real wheeling. Thanks, Andrew
