Heres one mans opinion. About a year and a half ago I made a decision to not buy a toyota and get a Hyundai so I could get more money for my hard earned dollar. Seriously, who could pass up a large 4dr car, V6, Auto, Leather, Sunroof, every option available and only 50,000 miles for only $7,000 grand. Good deal right. This car has been in the shop (under warranty) every 3 months since the day I bought it. I also have a '97 corolla, and I bet you can guess what has gone wrong with that..... Zip, nada, nothing. I have had to drop a ton of money this hyundai and its under warranty! On the other hand, my toys run day in and day out with abolsolute reliability. Face it, Toyota (in my opinion) makes a better quality product than anyone else on the market. I cant immagine EVER AGAIN buying a car I intend on needing to run reliabilby and not buying a 'Yoda to fit the bill.

When I purchased my old 4Runner, I went out of my way to find a truck with a untouched motor, and not some swapped out aftermarket engine. After a little maintnence the original toy 4cyl I ended up buying will more than likely last well beyond 200,000 miles. Heck, the gauge cluster I pulled out of another 22r longbed has 325,000 miles.

Sell yout Toyota for another make, be warned. I certainly learned my lesson the hard way.
